Background
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the family ofG-protein coupled receptors, that are preferentially activated byadenosine and uridine nucleotides. This gene aligns with aninternal intron of the retinoblastoma susceptibility gene in thereverse orientation. Alternative splicing results in multipletranscript variants.
