Background
SIAH-3 is a member of the seven in absentia homolog protein family. SIAH3 contains one SIAH-type zinc finger and is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 13. SIAH families are components that mediate ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins.
