Target/Specificity The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP9075c was selected from the Center region of human CSF3R. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.

Cellular Location [Isoform 2]: Secreted.
Tissue Location One or several isoforms have been found in myelogenous leukemia cell line KG-1, leukemia U-937 cell line, in bone marrow cells, placenta, and peripheral blood granulocytes. Isoform GCSFR-2 is found only in leukemia U-937 cells. Isoform GCSFR-3 is highly expressed in placenta

Background

CSF3R is the receptor for colony stimulating factor 3, a cytokine that controls the production, differentiation, and function of granulocytes. The encoded protein, which is a member of the family of cytokine receptors, may also function in some cell surface adhesion or recognition processes. Four transcript variants encoding four different isoforms have been found for this gene, with three of the isoforms being membrane-bound and the other being secreted and soluble.
