GFPT2 Antibody (Center) Blocking Peptide

Synthetic peptide

Product Information
Primary Accession O94808
Clone Names 90723182
Additional Information
Other Names Glutamine--fructose-6-phosphate aminotransferase [isomerizing] 2, D-fructose-6-phosphate amidotransferase 2, Glutamine:fructose-6-phosphate amidotransferase 2, GFAT 2, GFAT2, Hexosephosphate aminotransferase 2, GFPT2
Target/Specificity The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP9282c was selected from the Center region of human GFPT2. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
Format Synthetic peptide was lyophilized with 100% acetonitrile and is supplied as a powder. Reconstitute with 0.1 ml DI water for a final concentration of 1 mg/ml.
StorageMaintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20°C.
PrecautionsThis product is for research use only. Not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
Protein Information
Name GFPT2
Function Controls the flux of glucose into the hexosamine pathway. Most likely involved in regulating the availability of precursors for N- and O-linked glycosylation of proteins.
