Application
| WB, IHC, E |
|---|---|
| Reactivity | Human |
| Host | Goat |
| Clonality | Polyclonal |
| Preparation | Produced from sera of goats pre-immunized with highly pure (>98%) recombinant hMIP-5. Anti-Human MIP-5 specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing immobilized hMIP-5 matrix. |
|---|---|
| WesternBlot | To detect hMIP-5 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 µg/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hMIP-5 is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. |
| Sandwich | To detect hMIP-5 by sandwich ELISA (using 100 μl/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5 - 2.0 μg/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with BioGems' Biotinylated Anti-Human MIP-5 (60-230BT) as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant hMIP-5. |
| Immunohistochemistry | This antibody stained formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections of human colon/rectum adenocarcinoma. The recommended concentration is 0.5 mg/ml with an overnight incubation at 4°C. An HRP-labeled polymer detection system was used with a DAB chromogen. Heat induced antigen retrieval with a pH 6.0 sodium citrate buffer is recommended. Optimal concentrations and conditions may vary. Tissue samples were provided by the Cooperative Human Tissue Network, which is funded by the National Cancer Institute. |
| Neutralization | To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of hMIP-5 (50 ng/ml), a concentration of 1.75-3.0 µg/ml of this antibody is required. |
| Formulation | A sterile filtered antibody solution was lyophilized from PBS, pH 7.2. |
| Reconstitution | Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Reconstitute in sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. |
| Storage | -20°C |
| Precautions | Anti-Human MIP-5 Antibody is for research use only and not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures. |

Foundational characteristics of cancer include proliferation, angiogenesis, migration, evasion of apoptosis, and cellular immortality. Find key markers for these cellular processes and antibodies to detect them.
The SUMOplot™ Analysis Program predicts and scores sumoylation sites in your protein. SUMOylation is a post-translational modification involved in various cellular processes, such as nuclear-cytosolic transport, transcriptional regulation, apoptosis, protein stability, response to stress, and progression through the cell cycle.
The Autophagy Receptor Motif Plotter predicts and scores autophagy receptor binding sites in your protein. Identifying proteins connected to this pathway is critical to understanding the role of autophagy in physiological as well as pathological processes such as development, differentiation, neurodegenerative diseases, stress, infection, and cancer.
