KO Validated Anti-Integrin Subunit Alpha 2 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody

Rabbit monoclonal antibody

  • WB - KO Validated Anti-Integrin Subunit Alpha 2 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody AGI2410
Western blotting analysis using anti-Integrin subunit alpha 2 antibody (Cat#AGI2410). Total cell lysates (30 µg) from various cell lines were loaded and separated by SDS-PAGE. The blot was incubated with anti-Integrin subunit alpha 2 antibody (Cat#AGI2410, 1:5,000) and HRP-conjugated goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody respectively.

  • WB - KO Validated Anti-Integrin Subunit Alpha 2 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody AGI2410
Western blotting analysis using anti-integrin subunit alpha 2 antibody (Cat#AGI2410). Integrin subunit alpha 2 expression in wild type (WT) and integrin subunit alpha 2 (ITGA2) knockout (KO) HSHC cells with 20 µg of total cell lysates. Hsp90 α serves as a loading control. The blot was incubated with anti-integrin subunit alpha 2 antibody (Cat#AGI2410, 1:5,000) and HRP-conjugated goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody respectively.

Protein Information
Name ITGA2
Synonyms CD49B
Function Integrin alpha-2/beta-1 is a receptor for laminin, collagen, collagen C-propeptides, fibronectin and E-cadherin. It recognizes the proline-hydroxylated sequence G-F-P-G-E-R in collagen. It is responsible for adhesion of platelets and other cells to collagens, modulation of collagen and collagenase gene expression, force generation and organization of newly synthesized extracellular matrix. (Microbial infection) Integrin ITGA2:ITGB1 acts as a receptor for Human echoviruses 1 and 8.
Cellular Location Membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein.
