Reconstitution & Storage | Add 50 ul of distilled water. Final anti-PPIH antibody concentration is 1 mg/ml in PBS buffer with 2% sucrose. For longer periods of storage, store at 20°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles. |
Precautions | PPIH antibody - N-terminal region is for research use only and not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures. |
Name | PPIH |
---|---|
Synonyms | CYP20, CYPH |
Function | PPIase that catalyzes the cis-trans isomerization of proline imidic peptide bonds in oligopeptides and may therefore assist protein folding (PubMed:20676357). Participates in pre-mRNA splicing. May play a role in the assembly of the U4/U5/U6 tri-snRNP complex, one of the building blocks of the spliceosome. May act as a chaperone. |
Cellular Location | Nucleus speckle. Cytoplasm. Note=Colocalizes with spliceosomal snRNPs. A small proportion may also be cytoplasmic |
