  • FC - RAB27B Antibody AM8688b
Overlay histogram showing A431 cells stained with AM8688b(green line). The cells were fixed with 2% paraformaldehyde (10 min) and then permeabilized with 90% methanol for 10 min. The cells were then icubated in 2% bovine serum albumin to block non-specific protein-protein interactions followed by the antibody (AM8688b, 1:25 dilution) for 60 min at 37ºC. The secondary antibody used was Goat-Anti-Mouse IgG, DyLight® 488 Conjugated Highly Cross-Adsorbed(OJ192088) at 1/200 dilution for 40 min at 37ºC. Isotype control antibody (blue line) was mouse IgG1 (1μg/1x10^6 cells) used under the same conditions. Acquisition of >10, 000 events was performed.

StorageMaintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
PrecautionsRAB27B Antibody is for research use only and not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
Protein Information
Name RAB27B
Function Small GTPase which cycles between active GTP-bound and inactive GDP-bound states. In its active state, binds to a variety of effector proteins to regulate homeostasis of late endocytic pathway, including endosomal positioning, maturation and secretion (PubMed:30771381). Plays a role in NTRK2/TRKB axonal anterograde transport by facilitating the association of NTRK2/TRKB with KLC1 (PubMed:21775604). May be involved in targeting uroplakins to urothelial apical membranes (By similarity).
Cellular Location Membrane; Lipid-anchor. Late endosome
Tissue Location Expressed primarily in testis.
