Storage | Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles. |
Precautions | Mouse Cdk13 Antibody (N-term) is for research use only and not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures. |
Name | Cdk13 |

Synonyms | Cdc2l5, Kiaa1791 |
Function | Cyclin-dependent kinase which displays CTD kinase activity and is required for RNA splicing. Has CTD kinase activity by hyperphosphorylating the C-terminal heptapeptide repeat domain (CTD) of the largest RNA polymerase II subunit RPB1, thereby acting as a key regulator of transcription elongation. Required for RNA splicing, probably by phosphorylating SRSF1/SF2. Required during hematopoiesis. |
Cellular Location | Nucleus speckle. |
