Target/Specificity The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP6570b was selected from the C-term region of human CTSW. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.

Background

CTSW is a member of the peptidase C1 family, is a cysteine proteinase that may have a specific function in the mechanism or regulation of T-cell cytolytic activity. The protein is found associated with the membrane inside the endoplasmic reticulum of natural killer and cytotoxic T-cells.
