KD-Validated Anti-PBP Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody

Rabbit monoclonal antibody

  • WB - KD-Validated Anti-PBP Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody AGI1631
Western blotting analysis using anti-PEBP1 antibody (Cat#62442). Total cell lysates (30 µg) from various cell lines were loaded and separated by SDS-PAGE. The blot was incubated with anti-PEBP1 antibody (Cat#62442, 1:5,000) and HRP-conjugated goat anti rabbit secondary antibody (Cat#201, 1:20,000) respectively. Image was developed using FeQ™ ECL Substrate Kit (Cat#226).

  • WB - KD-Validated Anti-PBP Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody AGI1631
Western blotting analysis using anti-PEBP1 antibody (Cat#62442). PEBP1 expression in wild type (WT) and PEBP1 shRNA knockdown (KD) HeLa cells with 20 µg of total cell lysates. β-Tubulin serves as a loading control. The blot was incubated with anti-PEBP1 antibody (Cat#62442, 1:5,000) and HRP-conjugated goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody (Cat#201, 1:20,000) respectively. Image was developed using NaQ™ ECL Substrate Kit (Cat#716).

  • FC - KD-Validated Anti-PBP Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody AGI1631
Flow cytometric analysis of PEBP1 expression in HeLa cells using PEBP1 antibody (Cat#62442, 1:2,000). Green, isotype control; red, PEBP1.

  • ICC - KD-Validated Anti-PBP Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody AGI1631
Immunocytochemical staining of Hela cells with anti-PEBP1 antibody (Cat#62442, 1:1,000). Nuclei were stained blue with DAPI; PEBP1 was stained magenta with Alexa Fluor® 647. Images were taken using Leica stellaris 5. Protein abundance based on laser Intensity and smart gain: Low. Scale bar: 20 µm.

Protein Information
Name PEBP1
Synonyms PBP, PEBP
Function Binds ATP, opioids and phosphatidylethanolamine. Has lower affinity for phosphatidylinositol and phosphatidylcholine. Serine protease inhibitor which inhibits thrombin, neuropsin and chymotrypsin but not trypsin, tissue type plasminogen activator and elastase (By similarity). Inhibits the kinase activity of RAF1 by inhibiting its activation and by dissociating the RAF1/MEK complex and acting as a competitive inhibitor of MEK phosphorylation.
Cellular Location Cytoplasm.
