Also catalyzes the transfer of sphingomyelin (By similarity). Required for COPI-mediated retrograde transport from the Golgi to the endoplasmic reticulum; phosphatidylinositol and phosphatidylcholine transfer activity is essential for this function (PubMed:20332109). |
