KD-Validated Anti-Enolase 1 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody

Rabbit monoclonal antibody

  • WB - KD-Validated Anti-Enolase 1 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody AGI1301
Western blotting analysis using anti-enolase 1 antibody (Cat#61555). Total cell lysates (30 µg) from various cell lines were loaded and separated by SDS-PAGE. The blot was incubated with anti-enolase 1 antibody (Cat#61555, 1:5,000) and HRP-conjugated goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody (Cat#201, 1:20,000) respectively. Image was developed using NaQ™ ECL Substrate Kit (Cat#716).

  • WB - KD-Validated Anti-Enolase 1 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody AGI1301
Western blotting analysis using anti-enolase 1 antibody (Cat#61555). Enolase 1 expression in wild-type (WT) and enolase 1 (ENO1) knockdown (KD) 293T cells with 20 µg of total cell lysates. Hsp90 α serves as a loading control. The blot was incubated with anti-enolase 1 antibody (Cat#61555, 1:5,000) and HRP-conjugated goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody (Cat#201, 1:20,000) respectively. Image was developed using NaQ™ ECL Substrate Kit (Cat#716).

  • FC - KD-Validated Anti-Enolase 1 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody AGI1301
Flow cytometric analysis of Enolase 1 expression in HepG2 cells using anti-Enolase 1 antibody (Cat#61555, 1:2,000). Green, isotype control; red, Enolase 1.

  • ICC - KD-Validated Anti-Enolase 1 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody AGI1301
Immunocytochemical staining of HepG2 cells with anti-Enolase 1 antibody (Cat#61555, 1:1,000). Nuclei were stained blue with DAPI; Enolase 1 was stained magenta with Alexa Fluor® 647. Images were taken using Leica stellaris 5. Protein abundance based on laser Intensity and smart gain: Medium. Scale bar, 20 µm.

Protein Information
Name ENO1
Synonyms ENO1L1, MBPB1, MPB1
Function Glycolytic enzyme the catalyzes the conversion of 2- phosphoglycerate to phosphoenolpyruvate (PubMed:1369209, PubMed:29775581). In addition to glycolysis, involved in various processes such as growth control, hypoxia tolerance and allergic responses (PubMed:10802057, PubMed:12666133, PubMed:2005901, PubMed:29775581). May also function in the intravascular and pericellular fibrinolytic system due to its ability to serve as a receptor and activator of plasminogen on the cell surface of several cell-types such as leukocytes and neurons (PubMed:12666133). Stimulates immunoglobulin production (PubMed:1369209).
Cellular Location Cytoplasm. Cell membrane. Cytoplasm, myofibril, sarcomere, M line. Note=Can translocate to the plasma membrane in either the homodimeric (alpha/alpha) or heterodimeric (alpha/gamma) form. ENO1 is localized to the M line
Tissue Location The alpha/alpha homodimer is expressed in embryo and in most adult tissues. The alpha/beta heterodimer and the beta/beta homodimer are found in striated muscle, and the alpha/gamma heterodimer and the gamma/gamma homodimer in neurons
